Celebrities Wallpapers-Eliza Dushku-04

Actress : Eliza Dushku
Latest Wallpapers & Biography

Eliza Dushku has one of the most perplexing careers of any star under 30. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the game, including Robert De Niro, Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron. Amazingly, she’s done all of this with one of the most “unconventional” last names in Hollywood. And by “unconventional,” we mean “hard to pronounce." But despite that early success, the girl now faces the real prospect of working the "straight-to-DVD" circuit with Billy Bob Thornton and Lindsay Lohan.

Most actors consider a shift from movies to TV a demotion. So why would Eliza Dushku, one of the hottest young actresses working in the business, volunteer to do it? Because her agent was addicted to methamphetamine? No, because the show was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and it’s creator, Joss Whedon, was being heralded as the Next Big Thing. She says, "I love leather and it's great to be a bad girl at times. But there is a time and place for everything. When I'm with Grandma, it's flowers, and when I'm out on the town scoping guys, you know..."

Actress : Eliza Dushku
Latest Wallpapers & Biography

Eliza Dushku is fanboy-favorite Joss Whedon’s resident muse, and appears in some of nerdom’s most cherished shows, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse. So, it’s safe to say her picture is plastered onto walls of countless dark, dank basements, next to Darth Maul figurines and mint-condition comic books. We’re sure that makes her very, very… creeped out.

ElizaDushku’s first role came after she survived a rigorous five-month screening process and won the lead opposite Juliette Lewis in 2002’s That Night. That seems like an awful lot of screening for a crappy movie that no one has ever heard of, but it did let Boston-born Dushku get her foot in the door.

Lots of actors’ first movies flop, but very few manage to book their next project with superstars like Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. Before the glut of That Night DVDs could even hit the bottom of the bargain bin, Dushku was starring in This Boy’s Life.
